Me, myself, & I {Listography 2011}.

Each Wednesday, Danielle, @ Elleinad Spir, Emily, @ Notorious MLE, and myself are working our way through the lists of Listography 2011.

When I was young (before I owned a bulletin board... decades before I owned a laptop), I made a collage and titled it, "Me, myself, & I."  I loved piecing together inspiring images, favorites, words, loves... like this little blog - a virtual collage of sorts.   A natural sedative to the ever-present teenage identity crisis.  When you "hate" your parents, cry when your neighbor looks at you the wrong way, and have absolutely nothing to wear, a little creative introspection can go a long way.  Ironically, it has the same effect in the present day (especially during the occasional motherhood identity crisis)... which is why this list was sorta fun.

List which film characters are most like your personality.

frances... a hopeless romantic that sometimes needs a little push to let go & take herself- a life, a bit less seriously.

andy... a little naive, awkward, nervous- but when push comes to shove, pulls herself together quite nicely.
Image via

dory... incredibly forgetful, yet equally resourceful, helpful, loyal, & optimistic (just keep swimming, just keep swimming).
Image via

selina (aka- catwoman)... a gal with an alter ego of mild-manners & feline ferocity.
Image via

kathleen... daisies, fall, twinkle lights, words, neurotic, sentimental, quality over quantity, cautious, inspired.

And you???  Who do you resemble on the big screen?  Or who resembles you?  If you have a list of your own, head over to Danielle's and link up (& visit the rest)!  No post?  No worries.  Share with a comment.   I'm dyin' to hear.

If you're dyin' to hear about the next list-  then torture yourself no longer, by clicking here.

  7. Great list, Torrie. It's fun to get to know you better through these!

I can't think of a movie character I resemble. Huh. It's probably because I don't watch many movies!

  10. Oh this is so fun and hard at the same time. I love all of these characters and I can totally see you in them (or them in you). I can't decide who I am! I need more time! Haha. I'll think about it and get back to you.

  11. @Bestie Still not easy, but far less painful (body's adapting to physical activity!). Today was tough... my face was red for an hour after class. One. More. Day. (friday)

    Thanks for asking!

  14. I love how you explored all those different sides of the personality. I think I was little "in the box" trying to find characters that were very similar to me.

  15. What a genius post - great idea!!! This could be the basis of your book! I always want to be the character played by Meg Ryan, and would love hair that cooly daffy, but am not that neurotic - maybe her with a touch of the Dory....In England there was a little game about which Winnie The Pooh character you are. A friend said I was a tigger, which I guess is better then Eeyore, though I am a cup half empty whiner as well on occasion..Really enjoyed this and am rattling on much too much about myself (sorry)
