Sounds like a case of the Mondays.

While I sip on a big mug of this, and read this 20 or so times (found via), I've got a little {random} question for ya...

What are your favorite pizza toppings and/or combination of toppings?  Super Bowl Sunday- and our annual party, is a mere 2 weeks away, my friends... This year's menu:  GRILLED PIZZAS- lots of them.  Because, what goes better with all that beer, right??  So, when it comes to toppings, what melts your cheese?

In other exciting news...

My friends at Langston's asked me to share a few of my favorites, so please head on over there and check 'em out... and indulge that inner cowgirl (or boy).

p.s.
A huge thank you to Ana, @ Live & Enliven  for sprucing up my blog, and being a pure delight to work with, as expressed here.

p.p.s.

  1. We are a hawaiian pizza loving family here (pineapple, ham, onion). Can't get the kids to agree tho. Grilled pizzas sound like a fab idea for Super Bowl...been meaning to try them for awhile.

Got the Monday blahs here too. Maybe a large mug of coffee will cure. :)

  7. We do love our pizza (on the grill every season but winter)! The girls create their own and usually go with pineapple and raisins. I love pineapple alone with cheese; sweet and slightly spicy peppers with pepperoni; goat cheese and carmelized onions;... yikes, I just finished lunch and my mouth is still watering at the thought of yummy pizza!

Heading over to check out a few of your favorites!

Sometimes just tomato and basil. Sometimes pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers, and olives. Sometimes goat cheese, prosciutto, and caramelized onions. Yummy!!

Now I want pizza for dinner!! :)

Thanks for a link to that post, too! I always try to stay one step ahead of my son, but often need a reminder!!...so thanks for that!

  14. I have a definite case of the Mondays today. I loved your list of "little things". Lots of healthy cooking w/leftovers is a great one! Homemade grilled pizza sounds PERFECT for the superbowl. I love any pizza with goat cheese (especially the mushroom/goat cheese/truffle oil combination) and sausage and mushroom is another favorite of mine. Peso pizza is another good one and Gabe always loves pepperoni. I checked out your picks at Langston's and I love them all! I'm totally into the western look right now. Hope you had a great weekend.

  21. Grilled eggplant! I also like eating "Punjabi style" pizza like a local Indian-owned restaurant does here. Extra garlic, red pepper and cilantro. Spicy delicious!

  22. How fun! We are hosting a super bowl get together too. I love homemade pizza..even just something simple like pepperoni and mushroom is yummy. Also, the other day we tried an Indian/Italian fusion pizza and it was delicious. Or sometimes I take onions, basil or cilantro, olives, spinach and other veggies and chop them really really small and put them on the pizza. (add garlic too). It's yummy. So many ideas.

  23. yum!! when it comes to regular pizza - i'm all about cheese and green peppers. but grilled pizzas are a whole different story - i like bbq chicken pizza (don't forget the cilantro!) or a southwestern one (complete with bell peppers and ground taco meat, etc)
