I was sitting at the computer pondering the art in life last Friday when you posted this when my daughter ran up to me and suddenly I forgot all about art and had to go live life. Then, this morning Shona Cole of The Artistic Life had a wonderful post about this very topic today (http://shonastudio.blogspot.com/2010/11/making-most-of-it.html) and then I remembered what I was thinking, that art is everywhere in life and I just have to slow down and look for it.
This is so true, and so fun to think about. Next time I bake brownies and eat half the batch in one sitting, I'm not going to feel guilty about it. This is my art. ;)
Minnie- I love that post. Thank you for sharing it.
Such a simple truth. Instead of wishing we were at a beautiful garden- or traveling the world, we can realize that beauty, and "art" is everywhere in life (even in the unexpected places!).
Welcome to my canvas, journal, & bulletin board of past, present, & future inspirations in life- that create an unstoppable momentum in my journey as a woman, mother, wife, & friend. I love information of all sorts, & see myself as both a student & an artist of life. . . immeasurably inspired by others’ ideas, passions, & spirit. Please join me on my quest to find the ‘happy’ in everyday.
love this. :)
