Princesses & pirate ships.

We'll be in Hawaii for my BIL's wedding  next week (they just had to have it in Hawaii, and just had to ask us to be in it , so we just have to go ;)), so we spent Saturday afternoon at thrift stores, getting ready for Halloween... always a big relief to check off the to-do list.  As I've mentioned before- the older the kids get, the "stronger their opinion" gets when it comes to who they want to magically transform into each year.  A BIG decision I tell ya.

So.  Who's it going to be this year??

Mr. Chaplin... a cute lil' farmer (although after Halloween, that $3.00 Banana Republic cowhide belt is mine)... a security officer (Ryan)... {me? still working on it}

  2. i always spend WAY too much $ on my littles' costumes. but it goes into the dress-up bin so i reconcile it that way. G is going as tinkerbell (hand-me-down dress form Ava, but NEW wings, NEW light up shoes, NEW sparkly wand--just call me a sucker slave to disney-- but won't she be the cutest damn tinker that ever was.

    still workin' on my costume as well...

  5. We've got tinker bell, again, and a race car driver. Since I overachieved this year and am a room parent and organizing the kindergarten halloween party, i must dress up as well. Oh, the pressure. Any ideas?????

  6. We've got a fortune teller, a doctor and one who wants to be a pickle. A pickle?! Not sure what we're going to do about that one...

    So jealous about your trip to Hawaii! Do they still need an extra flower girl? One in her 30s? I'd be happy to help out! ;)

  9. Going to Hawaii?! You lucky duck! Have an amazing time and please share pics upon your return.

    We'll be having a Dorothy from Wizard of Oz and Emily Elizabeth from Clifford the Big Red Dog. Both kiddos wanted a dog as an accessory. I'm trying to think up another costume with dog as accessory for me (Paris Hilton just isn't really kid friendly!).
