In pursuit of pleasure {Listography 2011}.

Each Wednesday, Danielle, @ Elleinad Spir, Emily, @ Notorious MLE, and myself are working our way through the lists of Listography 2011.

List#38:  Memorable activities from my childhood.

Here's just a few...

Ahhh.  The  days of sacred sticker collections, wide-ruled paper, & over-nights at Grandma's.

Amazing how a few vivid memories can set a course of a lifetime... an endless pursuit of simple pleasures.

Now your turn to share.  Cause I'm curious.

What are some of your most memorable activities?  If you have a post to share, visit Emily :).

  4. Sticker books (trading was an obsession!), games of kick the can on summer evenings, gerbil procreation overload (My mom was assured by my teacher that they were both females. Uh, nope.)...I'm so lucky that I have lots of great childhood memories. :)

  6. I LOVE this list. Your childhood sounds magical and i love that you have so many great grandparent memories. I'm right there with you on the sticker collection. I would just stare at my stickers all day. I thought they were amazing and seriously special. I loved going on trips with my grandparents in their trailer/camper. And building forts with friends for sure and making up dance routines to try and impress my friends older sisters. We were such dorks!

  7. Your post brought up a lot of memories. Especially Strawberry Shortcake (Razzleberry Tart), My Little Pony, and Cabbage Patch Kids. I'd add scratch and sniff stickers and Garbage Pail Kids cards. And I can sing "me, I want a ho-ola hoop" in perfect Chipmunk-ese. :)

  8. What a wonderful pic of you, incredibly sweet! Yes, i remember in the long days of summer hopping on my bike every day and heading down to The Pool. Would meet up with friends Helena and Zofia and just spend hours and hours down there, in the pool, lying on the concrete or just setting the worlds to rights with a good giggle...
