A few days into our spring break- and while my body feels 10 lbs. heavier, my spirit is 10 tons lighter.
Had the pleasure of dining in the pizzeria of all pizzerias - Pizzeria Mozza - with Emily & Katrina...
... while my husband was hard at work building a new fence for our garden.
I arrived home to the cutest homemade treat that I ever did see (Estelle sent me the most thoughtful- and DELICIOUS birthday gift- cake batter bark!!! And it's just as good as it sounds. Thank you Estelle!).
As if I hadn't "celebrated" enough, my dad treated us to our very first {incredible} Umami burger experience.
Jillian, I'm sorry. It's all their fault.
Soon, thanks to Ryan- we'll be eating fresh produce from our garden... guilt-less pleasures.
Until then, I've got one more day of celebration to go... and I'm soaking every second up.
Okay, there's a commercial on for "Trojan Vibrations." Think it's time to call it a night.
hahaha...calling the night alone after this? hope not!
ReplyDeleteWow- you definitely had a birthday week and not just day! that's my girl! We don't deserve one day we deserve 7 right! That burger looks phenomenal. Wish I could get my hands on that right now! So glad you had a great week last week! Love u!

Yum! If you can't eat what you want for a birthday celebration and spring break, then you're not leading a full life! (At least that's what I'm telling myself this week about spring break ;) ) Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh that burger looks incredible! Is that a mushroom on it? What a great idea. Looks yum. The Australians always tease us Kiwi because we have beetroot and pineapple (both tinned in the old years, fresh nwo) on our burgers. And the fence looks incredible, what a brilliant hubby you have. Looks like a lovely weekend...
ReplyDeleteOh, I am loving this post. I want a slice of that pizza and then I would like to stroll through your new garden and peek at everything you are planting. It looks amazing and I'm happy to hear that you are stretching out the celebration. You deserve it, lady. Happy, happy day.
ReplyDeleteI'm still thinking about that pizza. What a perfect lunch with perfect company!
ReplyDeleteWhen you're ready for a treat again don't forget to head to Trader Joes for some burrata!
