Cabernet, Walden, yours truly - and this picture would be complete.

Each morning sees some task begun, each evening sees it close; Something attempted, something done, has earned a night's repose.

{wishing you a weekend- or @ the very least, a few moments- of lounging}

Aaah, I would pose on that bed. Probably in some kind of curled up fetal position. And then I would pose again. Repose. Just what I need.
ReplyDeleteso cozy. love all the wood and bright colors.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like such a cozy bedroom! I feel like I've open many more tasked than I've completed this week! But I love this time of year and I'm enjoying the chaos. I hope you have a great weekend, Torrie!

haha I agree with Suzie-fireplace and maybe a glass of wine and I will be all set! no lounging for me this weekend :(
ReplyDeleteAlmost missed it, then read the beautiful poem. What a wonderful way to close my day today. Decorated the house for Christmas and was amazed that it took the WHOLE day!! Now the house is a mess with open boxes everywhere but I finally threw in the towel and said, "Tomorrow, I will clean up!" Even more amazing, I asked the kids whether they minded that the house was such a mess and they said they didn't notice the mess, that they were so happy that Christmas decorations are up. Cute. Made it all worth it.
